I know, those insurance actuaries must be crazy to insure LH, BA, Iberia, LOT, KLM and all their subsidiaries in Europe where that's exactly what is happening, 1500hrs CA's, albeit as I said in my other posts, with 1300 in the right seat of the same 737/320s they will be commanding, in a 10x denser airspace with some specific regulations based on the country they fly to/from.

The mainline companies you've listed follow strict seniority system for upgrades - you will not have this seniority at 1500 hours.

Subsidiaries are separate companies - again I'm not familiar with any that have 1500 hour Captains.

No! That’s crazy, Me262 has been telling us this for a while now, we all believed him and encouraged him to make the move, he thinks it’s stupid to need any PIC to act as a PIC, 1500 hours with 1250 on type is all you need, didn’t you know this!
