With Tim Hortons its different from store to store. I worked at the Hortons at the Hamilton Airport. Very small store, most of the staff were friendly and the majority of our customers were regulars. The airport is a small community so it was different. Go to the one in Meadowlands shopping centre, and its a different story, not personal, sooooo many customers. I'm afraid that when the new Hortons opens at the airport there will be more business, and there will be more staff that no one likes and too many customers. I've only ever had Tim Hortons coffee regularly. First time I drank coffee was on a trip in Europe, afterwards I came back and started on Hortons coffee. I've had Starbucks a couple of times and find it too hard to figure out how to get plain old coffee. Safest bet is to drink tea

I still don't understand how people have such a hard time ordering a coffee at Starbucks. You can order without even looking at the menu if you know what kind of 'regular' coffee you like. Mild, dark, decaf. Thats all you need to know.

And if you say medium instead of grande, they won't give you a puzzled look.

Unless its an issue of not being able to pour in your own cream/sugar. If thats the case, just stick with water.

That thread is funny. In Europe, and the rest of the world, people who order any kind of american coffee are laughed at. Why would they pay extra for dish water. It is about time that some people discovered real coffee.
