Care to post what company you work for? I'm sure we'd all love to know.raven54 wrote:
You don't know anything about my professional environment. I can tell you I get about 12 days off a month, never have to pull the retarded duty day crap that goes on there, and get paid 100g's a year for a turboprop capt. But I guess I just don't get things in life.

Not to get involved but if you'd read the entire message, you would know it said the "working environment amongst the staff". In that the above mentioned company has some of the most decent and down to earth pilots in an industry that can often breed very large egos. If you ever run in to a Skylink pilot ask what the best part of working for Skylink is. The answer will be the same every time, it's the staff they work with.raven54 wrote:Okay we get it, funny and special. You are special. Yes you big guy, are someone special...
The working environment is top shelf at Skylink??? Now i know you are funny, what's the pay like there??? No one posted that info because the pay is horseshit!!! So is the schedule. You're upset because you are an aviation ho-bag

Why do you speak on a forum that seems to upset you so much? So I'm going to drive home from my shitty pay/bad schedule job in my busted old honda happy in knowledge that at least the people I work with are great. Good luck to you... It seems you don't need it though.

Re: Sandwich's & Jobs
I thought you might enjoy the new TV... Your welcome!I am Birddog wrote:Question...who breaks a perfectly good TV?kniteflite wrote:What's wrong with sandwich stories???......
Skylink will most likely be hiring Captains in 2-3 months, but don't quote me. The only way to get a resume through is the online application unless you see a skylink guy on the ramp that you'd like to buy breakfast for. Thats all I can say.
FALL RIVERRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!
Nice work. Don't touch anything else.
You're right. Most companies have good dudes to work with. I know a couple of the skippers at Skylink, both good guys. Your comment about luck, what is that supposed to mean?? I've worked hard to get where I am, just like most people with a job. I'm sorry if it upsets people that I work for great people and great pay. I find it retarded that guys will defend shitty companies that take advantage of employees, just because there is a great staff there.

So all you're looking for Raven, is a little ego stroking? A little validation? Yes, yes, yer a good boy with a good job, unique and wonderful the way god made you. I love you buddy.
Now back on Skylink...
Does UPS make you guys wear shorts for "brown ambiance" when its 2 freaking degrees out or is that personal choice?

Ego stroking? Not at all, just defending myself in response to others comments. My first "morons" comment was because some dude asked for info, and the thread instantly turned into a circus. For my ego I just need to look in the mirror in the morning, at my hat, tie and jacket.

As for your 100k a year...wow. That's almost as large as my bar tab!!! (ask around)

Many have tried to bring me down on here, the lineup in long. You're nothing new...

...but the path always leads to the same place...

Keep reaching for the stars angel face.
