better still, a Tiger Cat. But that's off topic.
Doc, I know where there is one, privately owned and I'm gonna fly it if it is the last thing I do.

PC12 basically flies like a caravan, but higher and faster, Caravan is a turbine 172.....Ergo, PC 12 = 172 :) Beech for me....

A lot of the original PC12 customers have gone back to things like 1900's, Metro's and King Airs. It seems to me that the only person getting rich with a PC12 is Frank Kelner.
gil

Im curious where you got your info from? Kelner is not the only one making good money off the pc12, next I want to know what companies you know have gotten rid of their -12s for KAs or the Lawn Darts? I can see the 1900, its basically just a bigger Pilatus with 2 engines.

And Im wondering why Pilatus sales are up (not so much in Canada, but in the US),if people just keep getting rid of them? Pilatus was the top seller for 4 years in a row and the NG is selling like crazy.

Pretty sure the Bear used to own PC12s? They are all Metros now.
Don't know how many commercial operators are using PC12s in the States. A lot are owner flown. For the wife, kids and a couple of friends, headed out the estate in Scottsdale, they'd be a pretty good way to go? No pesky twin engine requirement to stay current with?

May = Keewatin = 1900 and King Air 200
May retired in '05. Keewatin still had PC-12's at that time. EIF, ie. Perimeter's parent company bought Keewatin. It's run by a financial dude and the Wehrle's, Perimeter's old owners. They like twins. When EIF bought Keewatin, they said they don't like singles, they want twins. In the world of securities you keep the shareholders happy, so now Keewatin doesn't have PC-12's. They had a metro for a bit, because that's how Perimeter makes money. The Inuit complained until they were blue in the face about them. Now's it's 1900 and 200, because a 1900 type rating is good on a 200. Less training costs.

I'd pick the PC12 over a 90. Cargo door makes life waaaaaay easier. Last time I checked even the NG -90 doesn't have that.

I apologize Doc, it seems like I might be highjacking in previous posts. I would, obviously, go with the -12. Very reliable, fuel efficient, quick, nice payload, fun to fly and extremely pilot friendly, especially the new NG, RVSM and all.

Or you could just forget the 2 and get on a hawker 4000 8)

-edit-

You know what, I also apologize to you Gilian, I just hate it when people talk bad about the PC12 because it only has one engine, yet it does what all the twins do, and does it better than some.

PS you're right, I do fly the pilatus..... and the king air.

First, I don't think KAG or I are picking a plane to build multi-time on.

Second, I'm curious, how many companies have an Op Spec to allow flight in RVSM airspace with their King Air 200 or 350 or PC12?

Seems like the only turbo prop that would really suffer for not having it would be the P180.

Didn't Bearskin's PC12s go to Wasaya, along with all the routes they were using them on?
