now STFU already!!!!!!!!!!!

It looks like you created this account simply for this post. Hiding your true identity?
Anyways, you don't know who I am, who my family is, and under what circumstances I'd be buying the plane, so don't be tellin' me to shut up. This post has no place in this thread, and if you think I'm an idiot, you can keep it to yourself, cause quite frankly, I don't think anyone cares what you think. Just don't post here again ok?

My daughter's last boyfriend travelled around in dad's airplane: a CL-601, register N765WT. Dad paid for son's private, commercial, multi, float and IFR. An airplane is around the corner. Dad owns 49 TV stations in the USA.
There are people with money out there. Not everyone lives in your trailer park.

Pierre,
I hope your parents own that Diamond Mine out there and that you get some photos posted here with you and your new Found this summer. Best of luck.

Hey Pierre; just to be clear, I never said you were a retard, and I think that idiot that made the derogatory comment was out of line. I just found your plans really amusing. You see we all have our own realities. I read your post, and interpreted your comments through my own paradigms, and can’t help but feel amused at what seems to me to be the musings of a child … an18 year old child; but a child nonetheless.
I still find it funny, however I have stopped laughing.
Post again in 10 years and tell me how wrong I was.

aha as I've already said, it'll be a long time before I can get my hands on a Found. First of all, I'm just starting my training, and will be doing the 2 year diploma at Confederation College starting in September - which adds a few years - and secondly, it's very expensive, so I can see myself saving for a few years so I can feel comfortable with dealing with the costs of keeping it up and running. Though, since I have friends who may also be interested, it shouldn't be as expensive a feat as one might think.
ps: aha in fact, my parents have nothing to do with diamonds. Though, I won't bring them into this lol...

Yea I did actually. I worked as a ramp hand for Air Tindi this past summer and will be returning in May. Why do you ask?

They don't own any Founds but they do have a couple of 185s which would be the closest thing they have to it. I was really happy - and perhaps lucky - to get the job since I had no previous experience in the field. It has definitely given me a good head start in terms of employment.

If I remember correctly there was a gentleman by the name of Pierre working the Tindi dock last summer. I believe there were a fair chunk of Twin Otter captains convinced he was going to get decapitated due to a lack of situational awareness with regards to spinning propellors. Hope Confederation College has some courses on common sense!

Will somebody please buy that Albatross for me? I promise to paint out that putrid green colour but I'll look after it, I promise.
Used to watch those old girls take-off from English Bay at Jericho - too cool. And Wright Cyclones too..... All the real Grumman products are deluxe (except the puddle-jumpers) Goose, TigerCat, Tracker, Mallard, Albatross etc etc. Real Airplanes that make proper noises.

They sound great but I think I'd rather put a pair of turbines on. Just to make life easier and less oily.

ahha yea that would be me. Yea I did come pretty close a couple of times in the beginning, trying to tie them up quickly. But everyone learns from their mistakes. I was always runnin' around in the beginning, trying to do things as quickly and efficiently as I could. Times have changed though...
And dude, common sense has nothing to do with it. I was under pressure, my own of course, and in doing some of the tasks, sometimes overlooked the dangers. We all do stupid things, and even though we'd sometimes like to change the past, we're best livin' with it and learning from our mistakes.

Hey Pierre,
Thats good news. Where are you doing your CPL? I left YZF in september. I'm now self-employed and I enjoy all the free time it gives me, not mentioning the money. I still fly but only when I feel for it, like next week in north Alberta. Can't wait to go!
Let us know about your first solo; it's gonna be the greatest moment of your life!
About the Hawk, they may say you're a dreamer, but you're not the only one. The Wright brothers had a dream too.
Cheers

Ah man that's killer! Thanks for being so open-minded by the way.
