It is true when we do wash aircraft we put allot of detailing into our work there are the right ways of washing an airplane and there are the wrongs ways, and the work and time spent on aircraft that we wash highlight the right way. Yes it is a convenience like I said we are "Willing to wash your aircraft at your home airport" -No matter where you are located.

Here are historical times that we have used at our home airport in completing these aircraft:

1)DA-20:6.5 hours 12)PC-12: 15 hours
2)DA-40:7.5 hours 13)King Air: 15.5 hours
3)C-152:7.0 hours 14)Beech 1900: 15.5 hours
4)C-172:8 hours
5)C-182:8.5 hours
6)C-350:8.5 hours
7)C-400:8.5 hours
8}Aztech:14.5 hours
9)Turbo-Lance:9.5 hours
10)Caravan: 15 hours
11)Citation Jet: 15.5 hours
* Keep in mind, prices are negotiable (Like I Said). Prices that are listed are with full detailing. The less time spent on the aircraft = less cost. If you simply want a wash / quick rinse prices are significantly reduced, but it is up to the owner / operator to tell me what they want. I put these prices up as a general guideline, not as my base price.

We are here to serve the general and corporate aviation sectors, we provide quality in what we do. Yes you could hire a rampee and wash your airplane, but they do not know what there are doing. In fact in many washes, it is prevalent that when operators hire rampee's to wash there aircraft the wrong material is being used nor do the rampee's even no where to start from when they wash an aircraft.

If you are flying in to wash an airplane, I take it that you are using the aircraft owners water supply and possibly their hoses. Are you insured? Have you ever run into any problems with the disposal of the wash water? I remember reading a few years ago that some airports (US?) were cracking down on the waste water runoff and not letting even plane owners wash their airplanes because of it. I think a company started offering a mobile airplane wash with a truck that pumped the waste water into a holding tank after being collected from tarps or pools under the airplane. I guess you don't have that ability if you are flying in unless you have you own Herc. But if you do, are you selling franchises?

sounds like a nice scam? You want a deposit, then disappear never to be heard from again.

Washing/detailing an a/c is not a skill, especially something that requires those prices.
It's an interesting idea, and unique though. Perhaps you could post some names of companies that you have worked for already. A public 'resume' might improve your legitamacy.

hey everyone

i know this has already been said before but why would a company pay
for an outside company to come in and wash an airplane, i mean thats
what the apprentices are for and i say this as an apprentice AME.
As for saying that the average person not spending too much time wont
get the detailing perfect, well if you keep up on your aircraft and wash it
every few days or whenever there is time then it stays clean and there is
no need for one big wash. i can understand using this service for an aircraft
before taking it to an airshow or something of that nature but thats about it

Gotta hate those useless stupid rampies  amazing how many of them end up working as pilots, ame's, or any other number of jobs in aviation. I've been working around planes since I was 10, and spent a significant amount of time washing planes. I don't appreciate references to rampies such as yours, and I hope most people have a little more faith in their rampies.
