You know, we should all realize how fortunate we all are to have contributors like armchair, who has the guts and raw courage to back up their handle with real words. It's people like him (her?) whose contributions make the spectrum of aviation – and particularly professional aviation – a safer place to be and work.

And to go with that courage, the experience, wisdom, and eloquence to further back it up with insider-privileged knowledge of what needs to be 'eradicated' in the industry.

We can all learn from armchair, and take a moment in our busy lives to reflect on our upcoming 'mentality shift', as this positive improvement sets a precedent that can be emulated by all pilots, not just professional pilots.

Thanks, dude. I guess we all needed a reality check, and your suggestions are well taken.

Anyone know the pilots? I flew with a fellow who made his way over to Northwestern Airlease a few years back and wondered if he might be involved.
