More than a few guys who just got their start in the last year or so, are back working ramps and fuel trucks. You're right, anything getting pilots moving for a while is better than nothing.YVR Dude wrote:Why do you have leave comments like that?? Is it you're money? Your time?bob sacamano wrote:FlyXPO? Leave it alone and wish them the best of luck...anytime we can get pilots flying again, I say is a good thing...

Guy was a moron, and an insensitive asshole, but he sure knew how to look out for #1.
Word has it that he indirectly owes people that "ride motorbikes" for a "living", some money.
I've never seen a grown man wearing a "white collar", cry and beg for his life.
This...should...be...painful. I hope it makes onto YouTube

Well it becomes our money and our time when a new entrant starts a company and tries to take away market shares from the existing companies who would certainly grow and hire more people if new entrants would try and stop re-inventing the wheel, and take money and time away from honest working people....

Not to mention the rest of us get's to foot the goddamn Navcanada and airport bills after they go under yet a-fucking-gain.
Sure, if you have some money and a giant ego, start an airline! You MIGHT make it a year. Depends on how much you're willing to lose against that giant Ego.

Zoom Airlines (New) and XPO
For those of you who are waiting for information about the new "Zoom Airlines" or XPO as it was likely going to be called, I'm afraid the news is not good. Apparently many of the people who were working to get the airline up and running have not been paid and their future seems very uncertain.
I know that many people have been waiting patiently for some good news from this upstart but perhaps it is time to dust off the resume's once again. All the best to those affected by the news.

Triple 777 is that coming from a good source? I wonder what happened...
Re: Zoom Airlines may fly again
If this venture is dead in the water, and so far I've heard nothing to indicate that, then what happened will be the same thing that's killed many such start ups.CAL wrote:Triple 777 is that coming from a good source? I wonder what happened...
No money.

Soooo, any new news floating around regarding xpo? It's been rather quiet lately. Here's hoping! Really hope they go the Airbus route. It's not the "dark" side, really!
Re: Zoom Airlines may fly again
I've heard that there is some activity in the Toronto offices, but not exactly sure what's going on...if anything...
