Head to Muskoka at dusk/night. One of the coolest things EVER is being 10 miles away, seeing nothing but darkness, then keying the ARCAL. You suddenly see the strip materialize out of nowhere, and it lights a giant homing beacon (well, yeah. lol) It's so bright in the darkness that you have to key it down a few notches.
Toronto Island is always neat too.
If you want a good laugh fly to Windsor (cyqg). The airport is a complete ghost town with a MASSIVE runway built for the Russian Antanov. With the right crosswind you could just about take off sideways across it.
