Total time is 40% piston, 30% turbine, 30% jet:
piston: 3 engine failure
turbine: 1 engine failure
jet: 0
The turbine failure was a bleed air leak, so not the turbine itself.

In flight failures/shutdowns
flat engines = 3 (oil pump drive failed, waste gate failed shut, fuel selector failure starved engine)
Radial engines = 3 (broken push rod, spun blower seal, hole in cylinder head)
T-Prop = 3 (uncontrollably high oil temp due to failed oil cooler door actuator X 2 and power section fire indication which turned out to be a fire warning system issue)
