or I could stay annonomys and to make sure my career is protected, in fact I'm quite happy that you think I'm a 12 year old. Now it's a ligitamate question, what's an answer that your interviewers won't see right through. Why would someone want to work for JAZZ rather than WestJet or Air Canada? I couldn't think of one ligitamate answer, Any JAZZ recent hirers get this? and what did you say?
I am gonna answer your question and I am not even a pilot. The answer is that not all pilots meet the requirements to fly at WestJet/Air Canada at that stage in their career and if that is their ultimate goal is to fly bigger aircraft Jazz is a good place to get airline experience as well as build time on Jets and large turbo-prop aircraft. Now that being said some would be just as happy to stay at Jazz.
Even though minimum requirements maybe similar there are many people applying at WestJet and Air Canada that far exceed these requirements with jet time, airline experience, 737,767,320,etc type rated.....sooooo if you are a King Air Capt with good experience but no jet time your application may not stack up against a guy that just got layed of from Sky Service/Zoom, etc...soooo Jazz would be a logical choice at add to his/her experience.
Jazz is not the only way to get this experience either, some choose First Air, Cnd North, Sunwing, CanJet, Porter, all the Cargo operators, Corporate, Etc...
But who am I to judge you Aviator2010 you already knew this due to your vast experience
Clown....
