Why couldn't Wasaya just keep this policy to themselves? If they hadn't advertised it, and down the road hire an aboriginal pilot, no-one outside of the people involved would know that preference had been give to the aboriginal or if they actually were the most qualified for the job.

The Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development is what is supporting the disgrace that is so common on Indian reserves.

I have a solution that would drastically change the way these reserves are managed.

Give every employee of Indian Affairs in Ottawa two choices.

(1) Move their offices to reservations of choice based on seniority in their department and as well they must live there.

(2) Choice two is loss of employment and their pension plan.

Then we sell all the department offices to private enterprise.

It would be interesting to watch the Chiefs and the government employees trying to share the power on the reserves.

I've been pumping the same sunshine for years. Let the high priced, useless twits in the Dept of Indian Affairs live in YPM for a winter or two. Or fire their asses. I'll bet less than 5% have even SEEN a reserve. Probably FAR less than that. Yet, these people know what's best? My ass!
