Greater than 200 kts. Man it just keep getting better. Lets back it up some and lets say maybe 150 kts!!!!No they don't just let some Joe Brutal spotter ROLL in and fly a <+200kt machine at treetop level; that would just be silly.

Oh I've seen some pretty fancy flying down low by some of these spotter aces. Birddog, were you a spotter guy before flying the commanders?desksgo wrote:No they don't just let some Joe Brutal spotter ROLL in and fly a <+200kt machine at treetop level; that would just be silly.Rudy wrote:Commanders, sorry. 200+, 250+ in a Shrike? Not likely, unless you're going straight down.
Maaaaan, buzzin along at treetop level, you haven't got time to think about airspeed, obstacle clearance or fuel status. If you think, you're dead. I don't like you...You're dangerous man.

Actually, it's 160 kts @ 38.4% power. It's a little secret we like to keep so that you good fellers in the 'yehler' birds...don't get jealous. It's written in the contract somewhere I think.CLguy wrote:Greater than 200 kts. Man it just keep getting better. Besides, what good are we over a fire 20 minutes ahead of you? (or...any other time for that matter)
