We really need a "like" button on here.
It's events like that that bring out the absolute best in aviation, even though it's a sad day for the muni. Congrats to all the volunteers for a great job. And kudos to Global Edmonton for some great coverage.

Here's some additional news coverage of the flight including an interview with the crew.

Again congratulations to Tom and the many many volunteers who helped make that happen! Great job!

Tom, I hope you were able to finally sleep better last night.

I also understand there will be a couple of fly-by's and Touch & Goes scheduled for the last flights into XD this afternoon as we say "Good-bye"

Awesome work to everyone involved. With all the work you guys put into it I'd start using that thing for oil-field charters  . Some ancillary revenue for the Museum?

In all seriousness, a great job, although the circumstances of course still are disappointing. Best to Tom and all the gang with the museums future.

Anyone check on Tom today?

Hopefully he's having a well deserved nap and someone is on stand by to bring him a fresh coffee and doughnut.

As I am starting to recover from the flurry of activity of the last number of weeks I wanted to take a moment to thank all those that sent congratulations and supported the 737 move as well as all the other work we do.

I have the privilege of working with a great team in the museum and the great team of volunteers from Canadian North Airlines as well as so many others.

Without the exceptional people that I have been able to work with none of what we do could happen.

Thanks so much.

Tom
