.... money is no object (but still practically possible):

A Quest Kodiak amphibian and a MD500E (and I'd keep the 150 and the Teal, just to maintain my roots!)

Agreed on coolest and it prompted a bit of a search. There are 42 Bell-47's registered in Canada (not sure of course how many are airworthy). If the lotto hits (not a big win required), a 47 can be purchased for around 155,000.
I could be wrong but I would be surprised if even half of them were airworthy, many of them are registered (or on loan) to museums. As for price, even more so than with airplanes the times left in the components are a HUGE factor.

Plus another 50K (?) to learn how to fly it.
It's a lot less than that if you already have a fixed wing license. I did my commercial fixed wing to commercial helicopter conversion last summer. Basically 60 hours at $500/hour + misc. (exam/flight test fees etc.). A private would be correspondingly less.

Not inexpensive...requires a tolerant spouse but not necessarily a lottery win. :D

I would like a T-28 on amphibious floats. I'm not sure what that would involve to certify but if I get that lottery win, it's gonna happen.
Alternatively, a PZL 1000 HP Caravan conversion

Yeah.. The PC12 would make for a pretty great private machine…

How about a Porter on floats too?

In Dreamland:

Twin Otter on amphibs
King Air 350
Bell 429
Experimental super cub, with huge tires and an outrageously overpowered engine.

No jets. Charter those, and have drinks in the back.

I already have the plane I want, or at least realistically. In fantasy land, say with a moderate lotto win, I'd have to go for a Cessna 195. If I was like Carlos Slim rich, I'd have someone restore, or build new, a Hawker Typhoon. I have a fascination with H-block engines. That said I'm also fascinated by engines with sleeve valves, so I might have to have a Bristol Beaufighter as well. Alternatively, with that moderate lotto win, I'd have to make my own Replica scale typhoon, I have a plan in my head to weld together a pair of GO-300s into my own H-12 to power it.

I read somewhere that on the initial versions of the Napier Sabre... TBO was something ridiculous like 50 or 100 hours. They had sleeve valves too... so no need to get a Sea Fury.

Ooh! I forgot about that. Still, those Bristol radials are pretty cool.

I also have to add the SM-55 to my list, though I can never remember that designation. One of the most beautiful aircraft ever concieved.

X2... But I would specifically take an EX PS/WG with the lower galley and built in airstairs.

PS: xchox... The Cessna excluded... your other 3 dream machines are about the same purchase price... Just saying. ;)
