The rumours fly about who got hired and why, and all of a sudden you guys are experts? What ever happened to comradery? We should be ashamed of ourselves. Bitching and complaining there's no jobs, no movements in the industry. Well, here it is, things are moving, jobs are being created. Now we're complaining cause its not the way we want it?
I know everyone's entitled to their own opinions, but for pete's sake make it a well informed one. Not a disgruntled feeling toward a rumour. Have some pride and be thankful and happy for these guys (and gals) getting the positions.
We know the politics involved, and the unfortunate rule of minorities taking priority... but don't assume the rules are applied to everyone.
All these posts about companies hiring end the same: with bitter, selfish comments.
Pull your balls out of your purses and be happy for your fellow pilots!

30hrs Multi, or whatever it takes to get a MIFR. Thats all they technically require.

Albany, Manchester, Hartford, Providence, White Plains, Allentown, Harrisburg, Rochester, Sarnia, Windsor, Montreal, NorthBay....
Possibly a few others.
Isis, well said. There are far too many people in our line of work that think they are 'entitled' to a position simply because they have time and have 'paid their dues'. Well guess what? The people that have the right attitude and approach (even if it's who they know) will get the job every time. What company wants more people with the union mentality?
