I can go one better...I heard if you want to do a shift trade it'll cost you 45 bucks...the cost of changing your deadheading ticket....I think thats what they want...us to pay to work for them.

Did WestJet pick up many? How about AC? I know a lot at WestJet and CanJet had many mutual friends.

The CJ pilots are filling spots all over the place...AC, WJ, Sunwing, Transat, overseas....and they're still going.

My advise is to use em then loose em.
Take the free training then leave town when a better offer comes around.

just heard that the numbers for the final roster is 46. Too bad, I thought there would be more. Although look for alot of turnover in the next couple of months. Good luck CanJetters!

A good pilot learns from the experience and applies what he or she has learned and then you go on.

waterpooch you have to take off the rose colored glasses, have a look around and realize you're not the only doggy at the firehydrant. There were 110 pilots that lost their jobs in early sept. Thats 110 people that have either children, spouses, mortgages, bills or other serious issues to deal with. Most are looking for other jobs. That takes time. For some they want to minimize the damage and try to hang on to where they live before they have to uproot everything and move on. Going back to CJ for a little while till the other opportunities come along will lessen the pain.
These are real people with serious concerns. For some this is a way to keep track of whats happening and to figure out their next move. pooch you deserve a wack with a rolled up newspaper for pissing where we live.

Anybody know where the Canjet Christmas party is this year or did you have to give that up to work there. Nothing like a kick in the nuts for Christmas.

I think whats going to happen is R is going to attach his little doggy to a sleigh, and when all the little who's are asleep he's going to sneak down from his cave in the mountain and take all the whatsits, noisemakers and palookers, stuff them in a sack and crawl back up to his hole in the wall. just dont' expect his heart to grow 5 times bigger...cuz ya really need a heart to start with, and he'll probably even take the candy from poor little cindy loo who as well.....
oh memories of childhood....
