Big storms on the Wet Coast this past week so I have wended my way home and am now tied up (for a week or so, anyway!) and now I am able to offer my resume service again.

If you need someone to edit/rewrite/proof/critique your resume and cover letter, I am available. I can do all professions but am most comfortable with pilots. If you're not sure, please ask. I can do AMEs as well. I charge a fee when the process is complete.

Why not set up a dummy email account just for the resume business? It keeps the a-holes away from your private email and makes you much easier to contact for your services.

I'll give that some thought...I give my address only to prospective clients and in the years I've been doing this I've only actually had one client who was a bit of a nuisance. People who take the time to pm and then contact me on my personal address are overwhelmingly serious and are dedicated to moving forward in their careers. In any case they have to trust me as I know pretty much everything about them (at least as much as they've told their employers!) and they know me and my name; as this is a pretty small industry and reputations are paramount, we pretty much need to be open and honest with each other.

It's actually a pretty good situation and one that's unique, I think, on the Internet.

The new members of this site are restricted from full privileges for a short while so that is where the pm process breaks down, but on balance, it's a good system as it protects the site and certainly me, from spammers or other problems.
