Fast forward to Jazz contract renewal -- Can't tell me the Porter announcement isn't part and parcel to bidding on the Air Canada contract and just based on salaries alone (as wrong as that is) they are likely in position to under bid Jazz _ just think what the fall-out would be on Canadian Aviation and labour relations for the pilot group in Canada -- it would mean the demise of ALPA Canada and a backward step for all but at the end of the day it's all about money and we as a group are always the sacrificial lambs -- compared to feeders in USA we are paid a lot more and I'm sure the bean counters at AC and even WS are well aware -- so at the end of the day I'm very happy won't be involved in this mess and sit here and toss stones and watch the ripples --
