you asked and answered a question. one of the danges of the ban is going to an alternate. you rigtly said that there should be training. I wonder how many companies have trained their pilots?
nearly all approaches to 200 and 1/2 got in (if flown right). so little 'experience' with going to alternate. Faced with deteriorating weather at an alternate with an NDB justifies a better try into the ILS equiped destination, yes? No? what is safer?
