I do not believe there is any "mini bid" as such but a standing bid. For those who are starting, I strongly advise to complete the Standing Bid and review it periodically prior to each equimpment bid.

the August bid is now out. looks like a requirement for 27 new hires either late in the year or early 2012. ( i know of a couple people leaving, so possibly more). There was a pretty big hit on the yyz crj as expected and lots of vacancies on the Q400 and a few on the D8.

I'm guessing those who loose their RJ seat would probably bid Q4 to stay in YYZ right?

The only other vacancies were a handful on the D8 in YUL and a few on the D8 in YYZ. So most people will be going on the Q400 in YYZ.

The way I see it...the number of vacancies on the Q outweigh the reductions on the RJ....and Im sure there are still some yyz classic drivers who want the Q....2012 will see alot more hiring me thinks.....and hopes.....

With the way that it is writen now you will see as it stands about 24 new hires probably this year. Plus some more for attrition.

I'm guessing they'll probably want to tighten it before they takeoff. Nothing like having your seat slide back on rotation.
