It is not meant to simulate the overall jet performance (and it doesn't!), but the PMU makes the PCL (power control lever) to behave pretty much like it would on a jet.

It's got a ring laser gyro, which is even cooler and more expensive than it sounds.

You can install a shark and it gives you a shark with lasers.
