Hi there. Can you confirm one way or the other if your status still indicates "yellow" for the in person interview, on the take charge site?

Here's what I have on my Take Charge.

I've done the interview, written offer has been made, results are still showing as yellow.

I interviewed Feb 27 and I've heard nothing. My status shows exactly the same as yours haha. Well I'm glad we're all having fun.

I just received the green light for the phone interview. I have just one doubt, should we submit the documents before or after the second round interview? I ask NAV Canada about this, but they weren't really helpful on their reply.

Send your documents in now, before the second interview.

I finished my online test on March 7, 2018 and am waiting for an assessment session.
I know there was one in February so I'm not expecting one anytime soon but if anyone hears anything, let me know!

Good luck!! normally there are three sessions every year in Edmonton (according with the website), so if you really did good on your online test, you should be called soon ( I think it's done between july and august).

Sure took a long time but I'm in the candidate pool now. I'm hoping for the best. I hear YEG is always understaffed for IFR so hopefully it works out for me. Glad to be in IFR as well as my wife has a great job here in edmonton and would have hated to make her move for VFR. Anyways if I get put on a course I will be sure to update again. I was in the May 2018 in person testing as well. I got the green light for IFR back in September. If they are just waiting for enough IFR candiates to run a course mayhaps we will be seeing each other in the course soon!

I'll keep you posted if and when I hear anything!

I know an IFR controller here in YEG, who also teaches the classes for IFR. I plan on spending a day on the job with him sometime soon, maybe I can get some more information then!

I was green lighted on my phone interview on March 28th and I was hoping to get my IN person interview later this year. I'm guessing that they are really trying to fulfill spaces for a fall training. Fingers crossed for sure... the in-person interview was a lot more difficult this go around, much different than the first time I went through it.

I haven't done another interview with them, but I definitely found it harder than I was expecting based on what I'd heard from recruiting and read online.

I am 100% just speculating here, but based on the questions it seemed like they're really trying to screen for potential burnouts. There was a lot of discussion of stress management and the like. Anyways I thought it went well but by its nature it's a hard thing to evaluate yourself at.

- Before the call to set up the Interview, did your information change on you Takecharge page? I still have the information asking to send the documentation (Which I did, and also I receive the letter from NAV Canada confirming that they received).
- Did you get the call from Edmonton or from the NAV Canada in Ontario? Did they send an email to confirm as well?

For me nothing changed, I just got a phone call one day. It was the HR Rep for the Edmonton FIR who called.

Info on the take charge website seems to be somewhat slow at updating... like I've mentioned a few times, even after I received my course offer, my status after the in person interview was still yellow.

The call came from Edmonton FIR. The email that was sent appeared to have just come from Take Charge, giving you the same info as you would find on the take charge website.

Did you find out whether you passed the in person interview yet? I had mine around the same time as you and they told me I’d find out in 2 weeks, it’s almost been 3 now and I’m refreshing the website hourly!
