Brutal
Holy christ. 258k is brutal. Get your head outta the sand. If that’s brutal you’ve clearly made some wrong life choices cause I know 100s who would line up for that in any industry.
That's less than A YEAR ONE A220 CA AT DELTA MAKES. In a country where you can live without state tax and buy a very nice home in some of the most expensive cities for less than a condo in Vancouver or Toronto. RAISE YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

Yeesh. Who cares how many people would sell their soul for that kind of cheddar. Still remains, that we are significantly underpaid compared to our global and North American peers.
Considering the chatter on here that Transat wouldn’t survive the pandemic, and are now offering a pay raise, I need to raise my expectations?

If you read my post in other threads I’m advocating for unity in the industry so we can all benefit and raise wawcon across the board. Until we realize our strength as a solid unit, we’ll never see the industry you guys envision.

It's nice you come in here slinging feces out our house, but perhaps you should clean the feces off yours first. Would we like to be paid more? Yes. Given Transat's circumstances, it's not entirely possible, and certainly not to be paid more than AC per hour.

Do you keep your years of service when moving to the captain's seat or do you start from year 1. I heard they have also removed the narrowbody payscale so does the widebody payscale apply to all the pilots of the company?

You skip to YEAR 2 after a few years as FO. I dont remember the exact number of years tho.

And no the narrowbody pay scale still exists, but it's in the event Transat gets A220 for example at least they still have a pay scale the union can negotiate with instead of starting from 0. But yes all pilots in the company are paid widebody pay scale.

Are there any hiring plans at all this year? What are the minimum requirements like?
