It is not harder to get professional help. Simply pick up the phone and ask your doctor office for a referral for professional mental help.

And go unemployed? Nobody will do that. This sounds exactly like the vax propaganda, nobody forces you do it, but if you don't say good bye to your income and livelihood.

Instead of cutthroat removal of medical that takes months to years to get back, how about make it so no pilot is fearful to seek professional help. This could include pulling your medical only if the doc says it's required and once it's pulled, make it very easy to get it back once the doc clears you.

Most of them can work ground jobs in the same company. Not interested in nutcases flying my aircraft. Go to the doctor and if not fit, no more flying.

If no pilot is fearful of getting professional help(fearful of losing their flying job), that means that diagnosed dangerous people get to keep flying. If TC were to check every pilots medical right now, we could end up with 5 or 10 that would be grounded. That would make things safer.

It's like a security pass, your background gets looked into.

NewsFlash. German Wings could have been prevented if the pilot would not have been able to keep his being a nutjob a secret. That is obvious. Your comment is speculation with zero evidence to back it up.

Here is how your system works. Nutjob goes to the doctor, doctor says fit to fly. Me262 says all must be OK because a doctor signs him off(and that Pelmet is a bad person). Nutjob kills 24 people.
