@daveg
Gotta say, of over a 100+ colleagues of mine working at WS, you are so completely the opposite in every way from them in that you really come off as such a jackass that I can't really believe you actually work there. But hey, it's a big company now, there's bound to be a few. Have to concur you are giving the rest a bad name.
"loosing" money?!

I’m still waiting for my white male privilege membership card. Must have gotten lost in the mail.
Re: the new agreement
c'mon complex, Who is giving who the bad name here. Pretty harmless comment by Dave G then Tony the ex Nova flow-thru jackass steps up with a comment like that and only the balls to hide behind his handle and a PM. Just a sideline observation, but I'm embarrassed on behalf of being an AC employee. Time to renew the meds Tony and head back to retirement from the forum.

Re: the new agreement
No Squid, It's ME that's embarassed having YOU as an AC employee. If you are indeed one. See, I think you just might be trying to pull one on us. You wouldn't be the first one to do it on this forum. You do nothing but put down "your employer" and of all the years on this circus I don't think you've ever said anything pro AC or even neutral while speaking highly of other outfits (mainly WJ). If you don't think there is anything wrong with the tone and content of Dave's coment, you are either naiive or work for someone else. Balls? I just thought I would spare the rest of the good WJetters the agony of a spat. And speaking of balls, it's YOU that doesn't have the balls to stick up for your employer. That being the case, why don't you enlighten us on why you've stayed at AC all these years. I mean, the place doesn't make money, there's no job security, it's a dump and oh my God let's not forget that awefull colour!! If I had your attitude towards AC, I would have quit a long time ago. So squid, save yourself and the rest of us the misery and pack your bags. As you can see, I'm taking your advice and not sending you this as a PM. Is that BALLS enough for ya?
Re: the new agreement
shallow response. Obviously you feel threatened. Don't worry - it's called life. Never have felt happy with AC - you are correct. I fail to ever stoop to your meaningless benign drivel.

Re: the new agreement
You don't do a lot to elevate your position playing this cat and mouse game Tony. Neither group is well represented at times on here. Guess that's the beauty of internet forums though. How does that saying go about winning an argument on the internet?
Anyhow, i do fly a 737 and it's a great plane that i enjoy flying. And i do see my share of Regina. The thing for me though is, the airplane i fly and the places it goes aren't the reward and aren't the things that fulfill me. I couldn't give a shit about those things. What makes it worth while is the schedule (days off in particular with the people that are important to me) and the lifestyle it affords them, and being in a place where i'm treated with respect and appreciated for the job i do.

Re: the new agreement
Tiny. Ya spare me the lifestyle theories. Like I said to daveG in my PM, I have a great lifestyle too only it also has great equipment, route structure and salary to boot. My intent was not to start a comparison of lifestyle with dave but to inform him that his tone and content show a lack of knowledge of his competion. Bloody arrogant in fact. Look back at my (too many) threads and you will see that I criticize my employer as well as WJ but also give credit where it's due. Lately I don't see that too much from a certain group. Having been around during the last battle of the colors in this industry, I see it all happening again. Pretty sad for our industry.

Re: the new agreement
Simply pointing out that putting down my airplane and my job sounds like a case of "my dad can beat up your dad". You do yourself a disservice engaging in this childish tug of war with some of my alleged coworkers. Not trying to insult you sir. You more often then note have a well thought out position and make some good points. Anyhow, time to go flying. Have yourself a good day.

Re: the new agreement
Well two things:
1) I am not engaging in the tug of war, simply trying to stop it
2) Let's call a spade a spade, not "alleged" coworkers.
Safe flying.

1) You are not going to stop anything. If anything it encourages the behavior even though that may not be the intent. Win by being the bigger man. Just ignore it.tonysoprano wrote:Well two things:

2)"alleged" because i don't know this person who has your ire raised and have no idea if they are a WJ employee or just someone who enjoys being an instigator. You can be anything you want on the internet.
And thank you! It was a great night to go flying.

I'd rather overnight in YQR than YXU... far less transvestites downtown in YQR...

Best times were in Iqualuit and Res. Transvestites in YXU?
Re: the new agreement
yup, on two seperate occasions now I ended up sitting next to a couple of real low-voiced primadonnas at a restaurant in YXU. The last place I'd expect to see that!

Re: the new agreement
Yikes. We should probably have a forum that deals with a heads up on layover info. Hey, I hope you didn't wink at them.
Re: the new agreement
Remember the movie Coming to America with Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall? Remember the scene where they're interviewing girls in the bar, and Arsenio played a tranny that wanted to eat Eddie, and his little friend too? That was the voice I heard at the Elephant and Castle's outdoor patio, but the source of the voice was nowhere near as sexy as Arsenio!

Oh yah. Arsenio and Eddie weren't that good looking either.
