I take it your site didn't get a raise. If you want more money, you can always bid to a site that did go up...BigBravo wrote:Is this in exchange for getting completely screwed on the "Declass"?

Been trying for the last 5 years, hasn't gotten me anywhere, guessing you went up? But since no numbers have been finalized, no one can really say for sure... Timmins looks like they came out ok, but then again who knows... I heard 45,000 for a "B" level top out was thrown around at the last contract session... We'll see where the chips fall....

I certainly hope you are kidding??? Trying to stir the s&*t????I heard 45,000 for a "B" level top out was thrown around at the last contract session...
It is pretty obvious according to the documentation that the "B" level is the current FSS-02. Unless they changed the wage associated with the 2 level (worst case it would stay the same), the top out will be almost 64K once the 1.0 and 1.5% from May/10 and Nov/10 are applied (the increases that every other bargaining group got). The base level B would be over 50k.
I would probably stop listening to whomever is passing that poor info around. No wonder members are pissed!!

I asked my VP about this $45,000 thing and he said that the company tried to get the arbitrator to make the FSS02 (B) top out at $45,000 (for new hires only). Nice to know how much the company values our skills.

Interesting.....
We must have different VP's (either way, you're right, the company doesn't value anyone).

Re: National Discussion Paper Launched (Potential site closu
We're not gonna know nuttin' til the arbitration in January, since the pay scales start at the beginning of the new (8 months past due) contract, because the old FSS1-2-3, etc disappear as of the expiry of the old contract, replaced by the FSS A-B-C, etc new ones.

Well we know the final results of the reclass now, it was an insult, unfortunately the union is helpless to change it, and while only the biggest company shill would say it was fair most fss are to afraid to speak up about it.
