There's nothing wrong with more flair, we do encourage people to express themselves after all.

Use a 2pt as a bounce recovery?!

When I did all my primary training in a tailwheel I learned that the safest bounce recovery is (most of the time) converting to a 3pt. One of the main reason for the bounce in a 2pt is low airspeed/high sink rate. This is on a 2600x36 paved strip with grass strip on the side (wx permitting)

I was coming in on a short final behind a guy in a really nice TC, he bounced, tried another 2pt, next thing he knew he was looking at the dirt and his pocket book was a little lighter. If he would have pulled back a bit and just let her settle in a nice soft 3pt it would have been a uneventful landing IMHO

Doing a 2pt is that same thing as a float landing, I just level off right off the deck take a bit of power out and wait for the mains to touch,.

Then stick forward untill the tail doesnt want to fly anymore then let her down gently, tailwheel down, stick full aft.
