Forget the watches I am still suck on the question doc posed... single ply, double ply or triple ply? Decisions, decisions.
Putting money into aviation is like wiping before you poop....it just don't make sense!

Fortis "Cosmonaut" watches are very cool. A little pricey, but I believe guaranteed to 20G and -80C, good for atmospheric re-entry and spacewalks. http://www2.fortis-watches.com/sf2010/en/

I keep home time on the digital and where ever I am local on analog, water-skiing no prob, and it's on sale!
