So what. Pan Am pilots all got Rolexes given to them. Are they hiring, or is Canadian for that matter? Live in the now fellas.

Pointless post Dockjock, obviously not a Pilot or the gist wouldn't have escaped you. If we had a 320 Captain earning 260K in 2014, they would have only kept pace with inflation.

No one to blame but ourselves, collectively we couldn't organize a piece of t@il at a wh*re house.

I'm a pilot, but I also recognize that things change. Comparing to dead, bankrupt companies is meaningless. We need a positive, long term trend line which is what we now have. The high water marks of decades gone by tended to end with sharp drops off unmarked cliffs. Slow and steady my friend.

Canadi>n never went bankrupt Dockjock, hate to break it to you. Whether we are speaking of wages at Canada>n or Buffalo Airways, Pilots are working for less all across the country.

Since you're okay with that, not much I can do to convince you otherwise. Those "unmarked cliffs" you refer to, they only apply to Pilot compensation?
