I see adds for flight instructors and in the qualifications part they ask for " Strong working relationship with Transport Canada "
How do you get that qualification?

These adds are rather important if you are looking for employment in the training sector of flying and the question is genuine.
So how exactly does one qualify for that skill?
And what do you need to provide to show you qualify?

We all know these are loaded questions. I'm sure as long as TC doesn't have a bullseye on your back, you have a good relationship with them.

Yes it is a loaded question and judging by your comment pilots should be very concerned about this issue.We all know these are loaded questions. I'm sure as long as TC doesn't have a bullseye on your back, you have a good relationship with them.
T.C. is a regulatory body that issues licenses and makes and regulates the law.
However it seems in the background they can sewer someones career based on some regulators personal opinion with no regulatory actions and convictions to back up their actions?
Why would an employer have a requirement in their employment add that specifically requires " A strong working relationship with Transport Canada " if they did not have a means by which to confirm this to be a fact?
Great system Canadians have.
Anyone with even the most basic understanding of the justice system should be very concerned about a sector of employment that uses that kind of intimidation in a public add for employment in my opinion.
P.S. ::
I used the word " intimidation " because without a clear understanding of how you can show proof of having such a relationship with the regulator one just may feel intimidated.
