Hi folks. Under cars 625 appendix a items 2 and 3 say you can change as long as there straight skis no hydraulic lines, but does not mention anything about floats? I change over my self every spring and fall and just make an entry my self. My log book goes back almost 40 years and it's been entered like this each time. Am I in the wrong? Thanks.

I think the answer you're not looking for lies in the opening sentence:
I asked TC back in 2002 to add to this list, because it was "exhaustive". They did add to the list for me, as they agreed, it had been an omission. Thus, we have item 15, role equipment. But it was the word "rapid" [removal and replacement] which was the key to my success, so sorry, your floats can't be included there either.
I'll leave it at that, and I won't tell....The following list is exhaustive; if a task is not listed, it is not elementary work.
