Anybody rent tail draggers in Victoria?

Can't speak for the Island, but if you are at CZBB, there is a 7ECA Citabria and an older one, I believe it is a 7EC, and one Decathlon for rent. Beware the rental on the Decathlon, chip in a few dollars more and you can rent a Seneca...

Not I, just mentioning that it costs and arm and a leg to rent out the Decathlon. From what I remember it is in the neighbourhood of $300/hour solo. Add another $50/hour, because FTUs don't trust anyone without a "check ride".

A Seneca III or V can be rented for around $330/hour.

Sure and you can buy a Winnabego for the price of a Ferrari but thats not really the point is it

I like to pull G and go upside down. Straight and level autopilot glass screen stuff is far too complicated for me.. I just want a stick, rudder , tail wheel and the biggest engine that fits. Its a whole other amazing world

I know the feeling. The 7ECA is nice and light, but has a measly 118HP, so she's a little anemic if your trying to get her moving along... If you end up renting it, watch for snags, just a friendly hint (I've got more than a few hours in her and she has a flaw or two).
