Converting my FAA IFR rating to Canada

Post by caviator »

Hello everyone. I just returned back to Ontario after training for my IFR and commercial license in Ohio. I am studying for the conversion to canada test and am wondering if anyone has done this? Is it fairly straight forward and what are the common questions asked? Any help would be appreciated. I did this for my private license and it was easy. Thanks

I wrote the test a number of years ago, and I also recall the test being quite easy. Unfortunately I do not remember the types of questions, other than they focused on airspace and regulatory topics where there are differences between Canada and US.

^ What he said... conversion in my case was US ATPL to Canadian, but similar tests, I'm sure. Harv's Air had a good review if you're looking for something a little more structured with the studying.
