They used to operate out of ZBB and then YPK.. Have been out of the business for a while. Not sure whats currently going on. May just be some old signage.

Looks like Montair is looking for bitc&es and not instructors. Stay away you will ruin a perfectly normal career otherwise. Seems fishy when they have a job posting looking for instructors every 2 months.
The management seems like a lot of circle jerk action with no respect for new staff.

New owners (Chinese), but all of the management positions are held by former employees under the little Corporal...

It's kind of a new company now. It was bought out by a Chinese firm for the purpose of sending cadet type hires from China to Canada to get their licenses. I don't know why they kept the name Montair, or the old staff...

I feel like someone might have oversold the school to these Chinese buyers as "a premier Vancouver school with a good reputation" and conned them into keeping the name and them on staff. All while getting a nice pay out in the sale.

According to the "press" releases they are in the process of getting Red Deer up and running. Looking for staff for the operation at this time.

The new ownership of this school has really focused on upgrading the situation. I know a few people involved in the new operation and am impressed. However, it does appear that the almost sole focus is on Chinese University students - I do not have any first hand experience as a student though.

Personally, I know nothing about this school, except two, very qualified young pikots I know responded to one of their job postings. And neither even received the courtesy of a reply.
To bad for Montair, as they both have been hired by other companies.

Not responding to qualified people who show an interest in working for your company by replying to a job post tells me a lot about what kind of company they would be to work for.

Par for the course.

If I boohoied every time a company didn't reply to me for a job I applied and was qualified for I would still be crying.

Obviously the job was filled with someone more qualified.

Nothing for me to get over. I think you misunderstood my point.

I do like your attitude. You should make a great manager.
