No! no! no! The evil empire, the cause of all WJ problems, that's right
Big Red. I know no one mentionned it in the last "fire-side chat" (brain-washing session for the layman) so just for you my dear Westjetters (and wannabe) here it is:
Air Canada rescues CanSpell kids left in lurch by ground airline
Will fly school-age contestants to national spelling bee

WINNIPEG - Relief is spelled "Air Canada" for 20 of the country's top school-age spellers and their families.
The airline announced plans Tuesday to fund the students' tickets to Ottawa for the CanSpell National Spelling Bee final April 16, after original travel plans were put on hold when Jetsgo suddenly ceased operations March 11.
"Air Canada is thrilled to step in and make sure these exceptional children can participate in the CanSpell national final," said Denis Vandal, director of marketing communications for Air Canada.
"We have grown accustomed to having our computers do the spelling for us and it takes very talented young minds to spell correctly under such pressure."
In addition to the Ottawa flights, Air Canada will also provide air travel for the top 11 spellers who advance to the 78th annual Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C., at the end of May.
Rick Camilleri, president of CanWest MediaWorks, says the students will be taking part in a "once-in-a-lifetime weekend."
"We're delighted to have Air Canada on board with CanSpell under such tight timelines," said Camilleri. "While we were confident we would celebrate these star spellers in Ottawa, it's encouraging to have this partnership come about."
In all, 22 contestants qualified for the finals in regional competitions held across Canada. Two spellers who reside in the Ottawa area do not require flights to the national event.
While in the nation's capital, the spellers will also tour Parliament Hill and be hosted by Gov. Gen. Adrienne Clarkson at a private reception at her Rideau Hall residence. The event final is being held at the National Arts Centre.
This weekend, the Montreal Gazette will be the last of 11 newspapers to host a CanSpell regional; the first-place speller from each event will travel with a chaperone to participate in the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
