Holy shit. I was getting ready to lambaste the pilots along with this guy until I read that he falsified pilot's manuals and performance charts and disseminated them among all the pilots and engineers...
I've never heard of anything like that before. How can we trust any of our employers after this? I guess it's down to us pilots to question anything that seems even a little bit "fishy". Who knows who might be trying to murder us? It might even be our employers, or our operations managers!
Trust no-one!

Makes you wonder about some of those OFP spreadsheets I've used. Or the magical Cee Gee calculators. Sometimes you just trust the numbers they come up with rather than doing the math yourself... I also wonder why the on board spell checker is trying to get me to pluralise maths?

I think the CeeGee calculators are above-board. For one thing it would be hard to blame one for being overweight, and what would an employer have to gain by falsifying the "balance" part of the weight& balance calculations?
"Maths" is British. Maybe you have your keyboard set for UK English? I do, because the alternative is "American English" which is certainly not the language I speak. The word "mathematics" is plural, so why shouldn't its abbreviation be?
