$100,000-$200,000 would be my guess. A typical ligh GA plane is 20-30k for a basic scheme.
Then there will be increased fuel burn over the life of the plane. That has to be heavier than a basic minimum color scheme. Cool though, chatted with Eisner a few years ago at an FBO and I believe he had a simple Mickey Mouse on the tail of a Gulfstream.
Last time I dropped off an airplane for paint I was talking to the shop, they do a boeing every week for Southwest and I think they mentioned about 250k, I suspect the elaborate ones cost more.
If you click on the link in the first post you can watch the time lapse of the paint job. Safe to say it would be more expensive than a standard re-painting!
Fun facts
The aircraft was painted in Fort Worth, Texas.
The paint team included team members from Canada, the United States and Germany. They watched Frozen to get them into the spirit before work began.
The job took 21 days of 12-hour rotations involving a constant crew of six painters working 24/7.
The crew used 643.5 litres of paint consisting of 23 colours — five for the umbrella alone.
Sparkles were added to the paint in sections to add shimmer and shine as the aircraft moves.
An airbrush artist was brought in to work on details around the sun, water and castle.
The inside of the aircraft has decals and headrest covers that mimic the cold-to-warm (back-to-front) theme on the outside of the aircraft.
There are 54 separate overhead bin doors on the aircraft and each has a unique Frozen decal

It's like "Dazzle Camouflage"...I can hardly see the damn thing.
I think I'm getting old and grumpy. It makes me miss the days when aviation had a little dignity. I hope the crew don't have to wear mouse ears.
I actually hate myself a little for saying this, but I think it's silly and I don't like it. Part of me is thinking "why do you have to be such a killjoy" but I remind myself, paint jobs like this aren't really about joy anyway, it's all cold, hard corporate shit. And it looks silly. Kids might like it but it wouldn't exist if someone somewhere wasn't buying a new custom interior for his mega-yacht because of some deal associated with it.
I guess I'm an old grouch. I think a solid colour with a nice single stripe from nose to tail makes an aeroplane look great.

It's kind of weird to have a desert and sun on a "frozen" airplane, but I like the idea a lot. Really brightens up the airports. Also great for aviation awareness with the general public. They will start paying attention on which airplane they are travelling and which company they are using.
Very nice !

Wow Meatservo, you really
Let it go, Let it go
You didn't hold it back anymore
You Let it go, Let it go
It's liked you just turned around and slammed a door.
I guess you don't care
what AvCanada is going to say
You'll let the board rage on
Because this quote won't bother you anyway
I have 2 little girls and although I like the plane jesus am I sick of the song and all the toys and associated paraphernalia. I only wish I'd have come up with it all!

If you had seen the movie at a conservative guess of 768 times like I have, you would know the correlation. Olaf, the snowman, sings a song about how great summer would be and in the song he's lying on a beach. Hence the picture of Olaf laying on the beach under the umbrella.

YOU should be writing musical score for Disney!
Then maybe you can get a license to paint your car all kinds of dopey colours, with the little mermaid, and sparkles, and princess Jasmine, and MORE sparkles, and maybe some sparkles!

Oh yes I have seen the movie a couople of times and I know the back story of Olaf, I just think it would have been nicer if they kept it frozen completely, since the olaf / summer story line was very minor to begin with. But it's just a small point of criticism, I like the idea of custom paintjobs a lot !

I think it may even have been Pliny the Elder around 2000 B.C.
I still think the plane looks silly. It might well capture the imagination of kids, enough to sell a lot of non-educational movies and crappy plastic ancillary products that reinforce traditional gender stereotypes and "American" values.
You know what captured my imagination and brought me joy when I was that age? Planes. Cool-looking ones, with paint jobs that made them look sleek and modern.
