Hello everyone,
just a quick qeustion regarding the gear retract speed..... have never been able to find an explanation to why its 130 kts OR 146kts?????? anybody able to shed any light on it
king air 100 gear retract speed??

Perhaps whether or not it has the chain driven gear or the hydraulic?

Not sure how much help this is going to be but for the 200 the retraction speed was slower for the nitrogen blowdown alternate gear extension. It was 130kts retraction vs the regular 163kts. I realize they are two different machines, nor do I know if you can get the nitrogen alternate gear extension mod for the 100, but that to me seems to make sense.

Interesting Info, thanks. I would think that these are both for the chain-driven original design. I believe Aviadesign might be the name for the hydraulic mod company.
