Garmin Handheld GPS Repair Locations

Anyone know any authorized Garmin repair centers that will repair a Garmin GPSmap 296 handheld?

Garmins web-site states "Repair services no longer available." for my model GPS. Which is funny because you can get the latest maps for it still.

Preferably in Ontario.

I'll call them tomorrow, but was curious. I've always hated mailing shit in to get fixed.

EDIT: FYI:
I contacted them 2 days ago. They issued some remedy instructions today and stated if it didn't work it might be a hardware issue. I followed them and still coming up with the same error when I try to update the GPS:
