GTAA raises taxes again?

Post by ei ei owe »

Is it true that the terminal 1 departures have again been increased with taxes? It used to cost $11 to jump out of YYZ and now it's getting into the $55 range? I understand that the airlines themselves don't increase the jumpseat fares but does anyone know if there's "bargaining" which we could do with the GTAA. I know, bargaining with the GTAA......
Thoughts?

If this doesn't belong here, feel free to move it.

They have started collecting a bunch of new fees on pass travel that were exempted before. So probably what you're seeing...

Worst airport management period.

Turn off trains/escalators/runways/etc and charge more for everything...
