FAA Medical Examiners in Canada

Hello all.

Was wondering if I could get a little help here. I'm trying to find a list of Medical Examiners in Canada that will do medical certificates for the FAA. Their website has a supposed search feature for that but it isn't turning up any results. It may well be user error. Although I can't seem to use it to find any AME's in the States either. Any help or names would be very much appreciated.

For what city would probably help out and your GP should know who these docs are, give the office a call or any doctors office for that matter.

If you're looking for Southern Ontario / GTA go with Dr. Gilmore. Did mine there, very fast and efficient.

Anything I put in there (even looking for AMEs in the states) turns up 0 results.

Do mine in Calgary all the time. Dr Helleur near the airport 11 ST NE and there is another in Okotoks. Both good Doctors.

I concurr, Dr. Helleur used to both my TC and FAA medicals at the same time at YYC.

I use Dr. Gilmore in Maple (used to be at buttonville). Its easy and he doesn't charge a ridiculous fee like some other examiners do.

-> Search for an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME)
-> Select AME in "Designee Type" and Canada in "Location Search - Country" -> Continue
There is presently a list of 13 Medical Examiners doing medical certificates for the FAA in Canada.

Ok thanks. Found the problem.

Don't use safari to use the search engine. It worked with Chrome for me.

Ultima Medical in BC are decent and do FAA medicals. I've had people fly form Toronto to see them as they are open during Covid and close to YVR.
