On the 737-800, does row 10 seats A,B,C have a misaligned window..? What does this mean...? No window at all...

I think that's where the riser is for the air conditioning. So yes...no window there.

I believe there no window in that area like other Boeings to protect the cabin incase the engine turbine wheels give out.

That's actually a great question.
Westjet's on-line seat maps show their 738s as having 168 seats, not 189.
And it's Rows 11 and 12 that are shown as "Less Desirable" for not having windows, not Row 10.

According to seatguru.com, YMMV.....

Westjet 736, 113 seats
Row 6, no window.
Row 10 is exit row.

Westjet 737, 130 seats
Row 4 right side, misaligned window
Row 5 left side, misaligned window
Row 8, no window
Row 12 is exit row

Westjet 738, 168 seats
Row 7, misaligned window
Row 10A, misaligned window
Row 11, no window
Row 13, exit row
Row 14, exit row

Take the info for what you paid for it.

Row 12 does not recline due to e exit at row 13. There is a window.

Nothing at all at the moment, saw it later that it was part of Westjet topic. Was just ranting about other domestic carriers using 189 seat setup. Hopefully Westjet will not join them. Carry on....

I wouldn't count on it not happening.

There is no limits to the discomfort airlines wish to impose. Try flying witn sciatic nerves in rock hard extra narrow seats for 8 hours. Fun stuff.

I despise commerical airline travel now.
