Freefall what are ya talking about buddy. The lap of luxury. those bad boys even fit me and i'm built like an offensive lineman (6'3", 295). If you fit a chubby butt ;ike me and capt s n' j. then it will easily be the lap of luxury for anyone else. Minus of course the ol metro salute, everyone put there fingers in there ears.FREEFALL wrote:I'd rather fly an ultra-light or a home-built rather than a lawn dart. (see avatar)
FSS: puting the Service back in Flight Services....
I thought a lawn dart was a Jetstream.
Anyway, Perimeter has close to 30 pilots working there, who are waiting for their opportunity to fly, (metro or 99). They are 100 pilots on line, with 31 aircraft to fly. They are averaging 2-3 new hires per month and seem to have a lot more expanding planned. I heard they are building a large hanger at Grace Lake and adding two more Dash 8s.

Were you and S&J in the back of that Metro?bigfssguy wrote:Freefall what are ya talking about buddy. The lap of luxury. those bad boys even fit me and i'm built like an offensive lineman (6'3", 295). If riding in a plane is FLYING. Then Riding in a boat is SWIMMING!

I work with Perimeter, but not in YWG. I can tell you that you need some persistence, and it will pay off in the end. We have many many many people applying here every single day, and there are just as many walk-ins. I flew to YWG to meet with the management and check out the operations back in January, and it took me 6 months of bugging them every week or two to finally get the offer. You have to understand that there are many people like yourself waiting to be hired, so you just need to be patient and remain persistent. Good luck.

C-HRIS IS RIGHT!
FROM WHAT I HAVE HEARD, IF YOU PLAY YOUR CARDS RIGHT AND DO YOUR JOB. YOU SHOULD BE FLYING IN LESS THAN A YEAR AS IT STANDS NOW. YOU WILL HAVE TO BE PATIENT AND GO SEE THE CARGO MANAGER UNTILL HE TELLS YOU TO TAKE A HIKE!!! IT MAY TAKE 1 WEEK TO A YEAR, YOU JUST HAVE TO REALIZE ITS ONE OF THE BEST OPPERTUNITIES FOR A LOW TIME PILOT IN THE INDUSTRY. HOPE THIS HELPS
SORRY ABOUT ALL THE UNEDUCATED AND JELIOUS OPINIONS THAT MAY APPEAR

Less time than it took you to write your post. I would suggest anger management for you and the user who posted before you. Geez you guys get upset for the dumbest things. Can't a guy have some funrotorhead350 wrote:I agree, if your biggest concern is that someone has used capital letters in his post then you really need to get a life buddy. How many hours did you waste coming up with the picture????

Shall we begin......Croissant Wrench wrote:Man there are alot of old granny's on this site. who gives a rats arse if someone misspells, cap spells, reposts a thread, double posts etc. You waste more bandwidth in your futile attempt at educating than if you just ignored it.

Don't forget to begin your sentence with a capital letter now.Croissant Wrench wrote:... on this site. who gives a rats....
Incomplete sentence. Try, "You waste more bandwith in your futile attempt at educating than you would if you had just ignored it."Croissant Wrench wrote:You waste more bandwidth in your futile attempt at educating than if you just ignored it.
And finally, heed your own advice.Croissant Wrench wrote:Stop fu**ing whining.

To get back on topic!!!!
If you want to get noticed a the "Big P" Introduce yourself to the Ops manager!! Tell him your dad works for Hiram Walker and gives you free cases of Rye!!! Then tell him you have a ski boat (it has to be at least 120hp cause he really has let himself go - DO NOT TELL HIM THIS CAUSE HE KINDA SENSITIVE ABOUT IT!!) Not only will you get the job but you will become his new best friend (provided you don't have beaver time
)
IMHO
PS Make sure somewhere on your resume it says 38DD!!! even if your a guy cause it will make em look twice, which about 1.5 times more than they normally would
