Guess you don't know much about the ska genre... Desmond Decker has been rocking as the KING OF THE SKA since the 1960's. And he is f-in awesome. Even as an old man today he is still layin it out in big shows in Europe. The Ganja smoked by those Jamaicans seems to give them a long career... guys like Toots and Burning Spear have been seemingly non-stop touring for 35 years.just clearing the trees wrote:Unfortunately, ska even sucked 8 years ago when it was popular.

OK, take it easy, not trying to offend or criticize anyone, just trying to stir it up a little bit, generate a little more interest in the thread. I know ska has been around for a long time, I'm just saying it was most commercially popular roughly 8 years ago (if my memory serves) when bands like the Mighty Mighty Bosstones and No Doubt were cashing in on the brief craze.altiplano wrote:Anyways someone should fill your mouth with cement, so we never have to be subjected to those annoying sounds again.
