Medical completed for Jazz, how long is the wait ?

Post by dendar4 »

What is the normal time frame to receive "the phone call" for a course date after completing your medical exam :?:
What is the policy at Jazz to inform a candidate if he was accepted or not, by letter, email or no notification at all :?:
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks :smt017

Usually job offer comes before completion of the medical. After you have done the lab work ( blood, urine and ECG), it takes two business days. You will recieve an e-mail confirming that you passed from Jazz.

Thanks TooLow_Flaps for your reply.
It’s been several weeks with no reply/call/email or letter.
Interview, Sim & Medical completed still waiting for an answer.
HOW and WHEN are Jazz candidates notify of their acceptance or dismissal :?:

Anyone with some answers or personal feedback?
Thanks :!:

If I were you I would call YHZ and ask her for an update. With any luck someone may have just cancelled off a future course and you can solve a problem for them. Good Luck

Where you one of the few who did a medical before the sim ride ?

If so, you might be in for some bad news.

If you are out west then maybe it's just back log, but here in YYZ the calls are comming very quickly after the medical is complete.

Hope it turns out all good.

I did my medical the day after the sim and got "the call" about a week and a half later. The whole process from interview to GS took about 4 weeks. I know that lately things have been taking longer.

Do be careful if you get the offer before doing your medical though. I do know a few guys who were given a hard time over their medicals and were in limbo till that got cleared up and they were given the green light.

yeah, I've heard about heart murmurs, and the like. just had an ekg 3 weeks ago with the cat 1, and I run about 8 miles/week, so I'm cautiously optimistic. It does make it little scary to hand in that resignation, though.
see ya there, JR!

Has anyone ever handed in a resignation conditional to passing a medical? If the opposite is true i'm sure it could be done.
Good luck.

Anybody know what the deal is with the medical? I`ve got a cronic medical condition, had it for years, never affected my Cat1, no medication. As long as I exersice and get proper rest all is good.

Anyone had experience with this? Ive got an interview coming up and I cant help but wonder. However its full speed ahead `till I hear otherwise.

will see you on the 14th as well. They called yesterday and condtionally offered me the job pending the medical. Not overlly worried about the medical, so I will be handing in my resignation so that my present company has as much notice as possible. :)
