It is true joe to go.
Cheyennes have a lot of maintenance issues. Most notably those big windows (pressurization) and electrics.
Not to mention they have a limited life. Not sure but i think at 14 000 hours the wings are no longer certified. Hmm, a guy should find a time-xed one, buy it and owner-maintenance it. The money you save on the purchase would cover the operating costs for quite a while.

I used to fly a Cheyenne 2. You wouldn't like it. I mean it's just an overpowered Navajo and we all know how we hate those things. I mean you have to put up with those smelly PT-6's that run forever and you almost never get new ones because the old ones never wear out. And having to fly at such high altitudes where it is smooth all the time and you never get to fly in weather or ice because you always climb over it and they carry so much gas that you never get to land in between destinations just for gas and their quiet and airconditioned. Not a real Macho airplane. And I suppose that on top of all this, they plan to pay you reasonable well. I would just absolutly refuse to put up with that sort of nonsense. We must all protest.
The average pilot, despite the somewhat swaggering exterior, is very much capable of such feelings as love, affection, intimacy and caring.
These feelings just don't involve anyone else.
