it's 28-33/hr

If you fly 70 hours a month, and be the chief
of 4 other drivers... Not so bad..

+ the extra for provincial gov worker...

No, for that kind of responsibility, the pay sux. A single Otter driver should be making that much.
Sounds like a great job and sh*tty wages.

By my calulations it works out to $52000 - $65000 per year.

Sure not the greatest paying job out there, but it's still far more that I have ever made. For someone who would wants to be in management rather that slogging around in the soup for the rest of their careers it would be a great oportunity.

When I was flying the Otter it would have taken me at least 3 years to make what this job pays in one. Mind you I was flying the Otter for one of the crappiest companies in the world

A big question potential applicants must ask is why is the position not being filled from within? Governments historically hire entry level individuals and promotions are based on seniority. Any body have any insight as to why the Sask Air Ambulance is not following the normal route?

The rules say they are required to post - same as the Ont. Gov. They posted everywhere then that job went internal.
