YVR phone interview

Hi! Just wondering if anybody has been scheduled for a phone interview in Vancouver yet? Also for anybody that's already done one roughly how long was your interview? Was it mostly typical phone interview question or did you find it surprising?

Hi Lisa,

I got the green light after the in-person assessment but have not yet scheduled my phone interview. I’m actually out of country so I emailed them to them know when I was back as I don’t have cell reception.

From research it seems like it’s a fairly casual interview. Questions about how you handled different situations in the past etc.

From what I heard it’s a behavioural based interview. Be prepare to give examples of your own experience in handling different situations.

Phone interview complete! Honestly not sure how it went...felt pretty good but I might have sounded too hesitant...now the waiting begins again! How's everybody else feeling?

I had my interview yesterday. I felt the same about it as well!
Got the green light today though.
Maybe you will find out tomorrow since it took me less than 24hours to get my results.

Still the yellow light.... maybe it's a good sign they slap the red light right away so at least they're thinking about it? lol

Sounds good! Congrats wos! Have you sent in your documents yet? Going to try getting the birth certificate and passport notarized tomorrow...not sure I need to notarize both but better to be safe

Congrats both Wos and Lisa! So exciting.
Everyone keep updated re: in person interviews.
I have heard it may take up to 6+ months to get one.
Hopefully this is not the case.

I have also sent my documents in.
Only notarized the passport though.

Hopefully not that long for sure...sounds like it could in fact take up to 18 months which is crazy! I thought at the assessment that she sort of implied there were courses possibly this fall so hopefully we are in the running for those!

Going to the notary and then the post office tomorrow. We don't need our high school transcripts do we? Haven't been asked for them, but on the website before the phone interview were instructions on how to get them...very odd lol

Went to the post office today cuz I wanted to send it xpress post...lady typed in the postal code and the address doesn't come up...searched for it myself on Canada Post Website.. Nothing...search Nav Canada website find that there's a p.o box. Station T ..same postal code...post office lady tries that.. Comes up as station D....very weird lol she says she can enter the address manually if I'm sure its right...so we go with that but I say I want someone to have to sign for it now ...anyways its in the mail...they should get it Friday.... If Nav Canada exists at that address
