quick question about wasaya.

Post by jay-f »

I just saw the ad for captain position and I was wondering if the guys at wasaya are on rotation or on a "normal" schedule.

thanks

The Hawker guys rotate out of YPL, and YRL. Most of the others are "normal" positions? Interesting they're looking for Hawker captains?
Great bunch of pilots! Good equipment. Mega-bonds though. Bring bling, or credit cards.

good guys to fly along side, poor guys to work under. it's funny that they haven't yet learned that treating their pilots right will keep guys there longer. Guys making sideways moves onto the same equipement for less money is never a good sign.

Must be nice to be a FO or a rampie at Wasaya and see them looking to fill all these positions from the outside.

I can understand wasaya hiring captains outside if the FO's they have aren't ready to be upgraded. But why would they go outside for FO's when they have rampies wanting to fly.

Not sure if this dude is still there but E.K. REALLY rubbed me the wrong way when I drove to Thunder Bay to hand him a resume a few years back. After calling him and him saying that he would like to see me I drive 18 hours to get there. I meet him shake his hand and he tells me that he doesn't accept resumes under 1000 hours and hands my resume back to me. I asked if he would keep it on file. Says nope. I walked out vowing never to go back. Total lack of class. I don't give a crap if you throw it in the garbage after I walk out the door, but ...

I know a few people who work there and they are good guys, but all I can do is feel sorry for them.
